fighting for truth, justice, and righteousness!

So, recently I've been facing a lot of little battles in one big battle called life. each day is a fight for a world that is hurting and in need of love, compassion, and truth. the past week at school. I was told that FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) was not allowed to meet at school or during school anymore. I'm pretty positive that it is illegal to not allow a Christian club to meet. if other clubs can meet, then we should be allowed to as well. I'm still looking into all the legalities, but this is something I have a strong passion for and I plan on fighting for this!! I stand for Christ, for He is my solid rock. All other ground is sinking sand. I will fight for Him. The victory already belongs to Him anyway! 

John 16:33 "I have told you these things so that you may have peace; there will be troubles in the world, but take heart, for I have overcome the world."

Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" 

See, the thing is, is that satan wants us to not fight and be complacent about things. He will do everything he can to prevent the good news of Jesus Christ from being spread to the world. Our world is searching for a cure and is in desperate need of a Savior.  Jesus is that cure and answer. As long as I have the ability, I will do everything i can to fight for justice and truth. The Lord is my strength and with Him NOTHING is impossible. Everything I do is to glorify His Holy and beautiful name. Jesus saved and changed my life. For that I owe Him everything I can give. 

So I WILL FIGHT! No one can stop me because the Lord is on my side! His will will prevail no matter what circumstance or situation I may face. His Spirit gives me strength and courage to fight and carry on. This is for Him and not for myself. May His  wonderful name be exalted and glorified above all names! His love is eternal and everlasting. No one compares to Him.

I will take up my cross and fight until the end!

Phil. 1:21 "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain!"

Acts 20:24 "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the taske the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying the gospel of God's grace."

first post :)

hello anyone who may be reading this...

so i'm kind of new to this whole blogging thing, but i love to write notes on facebook. oh, and i kind of have this weird thing where i only type/write in lowercase so if that bugs you, i'm sorry. :)

anyways, i just wanted to get my first post done so this is going to be pretty short.

i think i'm going to do weekly posts of good songs i've been listening to that week. my friend payton started that so i'm kind of copying him. ha. i love music and i love it when people recommend music because then you find more music which is pretty rad.

on another note, i personally have been struggling with plans for my future and such. i'm not exactly sure what i want to do as a career and what not. God has been speaking to me in different ways and directing me, but i'm not sure of which passions to pursue. i feel like God has been telling me to just take steps in faith and explore what is out there. i don't know what you may be going through, but it is okay to not know everything you want to do with your life. just pursue and search for passions that you may have. we all want to change the world. so get out there and take a step in faith!

i'll definitely be writing more posts later.
